Silver Fume Natural Perc Sherlock Bubbler

The Silver Fume Natural Perc Sherlock Bubbler by Mary Jane’s Glass brings some serious old-school character to a classic water pipe! Covered in an even layer of silver , this oversized Sherlock bubbler has a beautiful metallic sheen that can develop richer blues and purples as the piece sees more use. The generous bowl, sweeping stem, and flared mouthpiece give it that unmistakable Sherlock personality.
A technique where vaporized metal, most commonly silver or gold, is deposited onto hot glass to create thin metallic coloration that changes with lighting and surrounding glass.
The sits beneath a large, open chamber, giving smoke plenty of room to collect before traveling up the curved stem. Add a small amount of water to the reservoir below the bowl and the natural perc gets to work, bubbling smoke through the water for cooling and filtration. The compact reservoir is designed to work with a modest water level, helping keep spills to a minimum when the pipe is set down.
A simple water-filtration design where smoke exits directly from the opening of the downstem into the water chamber, creating bubbles without a separate diffuser or percolator attachment.
The oversized thumb-plus bowl has plenty of room for a generous pack, while a horn extending from the bowl helps stabilize the bubbler when resting on a flat surface. That horn adds a little character to the silhouette, too! The long, curved stem leads to a comfortable flared mouthpiece, completing this substantial Sherlock shape.
There’s something great about a big, beautifully fumed Sherlock that keeps the focus on classic glasswork and solid function. The Silver Fume Natural Perc Sherlock Bubbler delivers just that, with plenty of room in the chamber, a generous bowl, and color-changing silver fume that gives the piece even more character over time!
