The Collector’s collection is a truly extraordinary portfolio of pieces that are unlike any others. They are made with a combination of mad genius and decades of skill, and they feature some wild designs. Opals, spaceships, nebulas, and purple glass galore; this is just a mere peek into the capabilities Tako excels in. These exquisite details are also an inkling as to what you may be interested in requesting for your custom piece.

The Process
We like to make the process of ordering custom glass streamlined yet personal. Being a small, family run business we pride ourselves in being everyones neighbor and friend. There's nothing like experiencing such friendly customer service that you want to shoot the shit at the end of a phone call.
When you reach out, via email or over connecting over social media, to inquire about a custom piece, one of our staff here at Tako Glass will respond to you right away asking for further details and photos for some inspiration. That information will be passed on to Tako so he can start working out the idea in his head. Meanwhile, customers will purchase a
custom consultation with Tako so that we can dive deeper into the brainstorming process.
Typically Tako will email the customers directly and after getting a baseline idea he will set up a time for a phone call. Talking about custom glass over the phone is an awesome way to get those ideas flowing and gives Tako a chance to bounce his own thoughts off of the customer. Working together Tako and our custom glass customers can come up with a one of a kind piece of glass that checks all the boxes.
Customer Experience
Part of the excitement of custom creations is the collaborative effort, and we really love working with our customers to create beloved pieces they will love and cherish for the long haul. Using our artistry to keep our customers satisfied is what custom creations are all about.
We recently had the pleasure of working with a customer to create the custom hammer of his dreams. When Rob contacted Tako Glass about making a custom piece, he had a very specific design in mind, but he was open to the potential for new ideas that may come up during his custom consultation with Tako. Tako worked with Rob to formulate a truly exceptional piece, working off Rob's color preferences and a few key desing features, and then adding Tako's own unique flare to really bring it all together.
What started off as an amazing hammer idea quickly turned into a show stopping work of art with a donut along the mouth piece acting as an ash catcher, some added magnifying marbles containing opals, and even a featuring a horn with a carb made from telemagenta glass for an additional spark of color. The opals were also backed by the amazing telemagenta glass and fired off an array of rainbow colors as the light hit them just right.

The result is like nothing I'd envisioned and far beyond anything I could have imagined. It's beautifully rendered, a joy to behold and fantastic in action. We absolutely love it!" Works as expected with Royal Runtz but research is ongoing to determine if it’s equally effective with other strains."

"Nothing Like My Vision
When I contacted Tako Glass about making a custom piece, I had a very specific design in mind. However, I also try to avoid being dogmatic and was very open to the ideas that came up during consultation, which were fantastic. Taking my color preferences, some key design features and adding them to artistic license, I got something truly exceptional.
Until I saw the photos of the finished product and then held it in my hands a few days later, I had no clear idea of what I’d purchased.
