We’ve got a fresh drop from Illaelph incoming! Last year we became an official distributer of Illadelph Glassware, an exclusive, high-end glass art company that has been making glassware since 2002. Illadelph Glass was started in Philadelphia, PA and has since expanded throughout the surrounding areas. We love supporting U.S. made glass companies!
We’re hosting an in-person presale drop at Tako HQ in Sequim, Washington this Friday, 03/07/25! Running from 1pm till 5pm, we’ll have the entire Iladelph drop available for viewing and purchase. What sets Iladelph apart? At Illadelph Glass critical attention is paid to quality and design. Their complete line of quality products feature All-American glass ground Joints, made for durability and a solid fit. Note the well-crafted seals and welds between these joints and their bodies. This expertise takes years to develop. Illadelph has strict Quality Assurance rules, for example, any imperfections or air bubbles measuring over 0.33 mms are considered ‘not to spec’, and are never shipped. You won’t find legitimate Second Quality Illadelph glass on any store shelves.
Quality Extending into Packaging
Their authenticity and high quality standards also show in their packaging. Authentic Illadelph pieces will arrive packed in bespoke black and gold boxes. Custom cut foam ensues that all of the pieces and accesories fit perfectly. More than just branding, the attention to detail is what keeps Illadelph at the top of the game. Illadelph is not insulated from the counterfeit market, as there is considerable demand to copy high end glass products and branding. To counter this, Iladelph has poured effort into making their packaging and glass stand out. Counterfeits generally have poorer quality packaging, with imperfections in the print, and are made of a lesser grade material. Authentic Iladelph glass will also include a holographic logo on the package too! If a piece does not include a hologram, there is no way to verify its authenticity. It is always recommended to buy Iladelph products through an official Illadelph distributer for peace of mind!
Innovation at Illadelph
Some glass producers stick to the tried and tested forms and functions we all know and love, and there’s nothing wrong with that! But Illadelph Glass is often found leading the cutting edge of product development. This really shows in products such as their branded plastic clip (Keck clip) that securely holds together the removable pieces of their bongs, such as down stems. You will find the 19/22 glass ground joints utilize this new clip that has been re-sized for easy yet secure use. The Illadelph Glass registered trademark is boldly displayed at the front of each of these clips that come in various colors, always matched to the colors featured in the glass itself.
You will also find other quality of life innovations, such as the Coil system. Illadelph Coil bongs feature an oversized ground joint that connects the base of the bong to a freezable coil top. The coil allows the smoke to be super chilled as it tases through, delivering ultra smooth and tastier its. Another clip innovation, oversized magnetic ring clips, hold the two halves together securely when in use, and quickly detach to break down the piece for storage or cleaning. The easy disassembly of their Coil bongs means they’re super easy to keep clean!
