The Analog Dream Reversal Hammer Pipe is a heavy, old-school dry hammer built around colorful work, layered , and the kind of thick construction that defined classic functional glass.
A rod of glass, often containing color or a repeating pattern, that can be applied, stretched, sliced, twisted, or incorporated into more complex glasswork.
A linework technique where the direction of a spiral, stripe, or related pattern is deliberately changed, creating repeated directional shifts in the design.
Orange, baby blue, and green cane run throughout the piece, giving it a bright retro palette without letting any one color dominate. Three separate reversals create the main visual rhythm: one worked into the stem and two inside the can. Colored wraps between the connections help break up the sections and give the pattern a layered, assembled feel.
The carb is a standout detail on its own. It is blown out and reversed with matching cane, carrying the same pattern work into one of the pipe’s functional features. A large magnifying marble trail runs along the can, enlarging and distorting the cane underneath and adding another layer of depth as the piece is viewed from different angles.
This hammer has a substantial feel in the hand. It is heavy, thick, and unapologetically old school, with the solid proportions and detailed reversal work that call back to the heady glass styles of the 1990s.
The name Analog Dream fits that character perfectly: colorful, slightly psychedelic, nostalgic, and rooted in a time when thick glass, cane work, and reversals were the language of functional art. The Analog Dream Reversal Hammer Pipe is a fitting choice for anyone drawn to classic worked glass with plenty of weight, color, and detail.
