Bumbershoot Rainbow Dichroic Hammer Pipe

The Bumbershoot Rainbow Dichroic Hammer Pipe is a colorful dry hammer built around swirling rainbow color, reflective , and one of the more unusual shapes we’ve seen on a hand pipe. Layers of bright rainbow colors spiral through the piece, while flashes of dichroic glass catch the light and shift as you turn it.
Glass carrying thin optical coatings that reflect and transmit different wavelengths of light, creating strong color shifts and flashes as lighting or viewing angle changes.
The shaping is what really gives this hammer its character. The bottom of the can opens into a wide umbrella-like form, giving the piece its Bumbershoot name and creating a striking silhouette. That same flared shape appears again along the stem, tying the design together instead of leaving the unusual base as a one-off detail.
The broad bottom also gives the pipe a solid stance. It sits flat and sturdy on a surface, with the wide base making the sculptural shape feel intentional as well as functional. Between the stacked rainbow colors and reflective dichroic, there is plenty to look at from every angle.
Bright, strange, and unapologetically colorful, the Bumbershoot Rainbow Dichroic Hammer Pipe feels equal parts functional glass and playful sculpture. If you like dry hammers that break away from the usual silhouette, this one definitely has its own personality.
