The Clarity Duet Sherlock Bubbler is a clear glass piece by Beale that lets a few carefully placed details do all the talking. Two colorful sit on the front of the can, giving the otherwise transparent body a pair of bright focal points and a nice sense of symmetry.
A linework pattern created by repeatedly changing or reversing striped or spiraled glass, producing a rhythmic zig-zag or chevron-like design.
A small patterned slice cut from prepared glass cane, with the image or design appearing in cross-section before being fused into or onto another piece.
The stem is sculpted into a classic sherlock style with the assistance of two teardrops, adding a soft curve and a little extra visual weight to the profile. That shaping gives the bubbler a distinctive silhouette without covering up the clean, open look of the clear glass.
A curved stem and mouthpiece profile inspired by the traditional pipe shape associated with Sherlock Holmes; it may describe either a dry pipe or a water-filtering piece.
A rises from the can as another unusual detail, adding character to the functional side of the piece. With so much of the body left clear, you can really see the relationship between the chamber, the stem, and those two colorful millies instead of having the glasswork disappear into a busier design.
A raised carb with an extended glass neck connected low on a bubbler chamber, allowing the carb opening to sit above the waterline while maintaining water-filtered airflow when clearing the piece.
There is something especially satisfying about the contrast here: clear glass, twin bursts of wig-wag color, and a smooth curved stem pulling the whole piece together. The Clarity Duet Sherlock Bubbler is a great fit for someone who likes distinctive shaping and colorful detail without losing that clean, transparent look.
