The Fumed Egyptian Marina Opal Spoon Pipe is an extra-thick original by Tako Glass, with heavy and beautiful pastel-blue Marina accents. This 12oz chunky spoon pipe is part of Tako’s signature , inspired by the decorative glassmaking traditions of ancient Egypt. There’s plenty of glass here, and plenty of detail to admire.
Opposite the carb sits a planet marble backed by pastel-blue Marina glass. A matching pair of Marina accent marbles adds more of that soft blue color around the piece, making a beautiful contrast against the silver fuming and clear glass.
The body and stem are covered in flowing fume squiggles that twist and wander through the glass. Up on the cap, dimensional mood dots add another layer of texture and pattern. Between the soft blue marbles, swirling fume work, and raised dots, there’s something worth checking out from every angle.
This Egyptian spoon has a substantial feel in the hand, with a comfortable carb and a finger-sized bowl that’s great for solo sessions or sharing with friends. The combination of thick glass, heavy fume work, and pastel-blue Marina accents makes this Fumed Egyptian Marina Opal Spoon Pipe a real standout.
Fuming performed with vaporized silver, creating a thin metallic layer on hot glass whose final coloration changes according to application, heat history, and surrounding glass.
A signature Tako Glass hand-pipe style defined by exceptionally thick glass construction and a substantial feel in the hand. The name references the tradition of decorative glassmaking in ancient Egypt.
An opal element incorporated into and typically encased within glass as a decorative focal point.
