Large Purple Ghost Pipe

The Large Purple Ghost Pipe starts out subtle, but don’t let a clean bowl fool you. This is a true color changer. Tako Glass combines with , and the resulting colors develop with use, shifting toward electric blue and intense shades of ghost purple. You should start to see some change after just a few days, though lighter use may take longer to bring out its full personality.
A technique where vaporized metal, most commonly silver or gold, is deposited onto hot glass to create thin metallic coloration that changes with lighting and surrounding glass.
This is the larger version of Tako’s standard spoon pipe, with a little more length and weight in hand. The carb hole sits on the right side, making it a natural fit for left-handed users. Right-handed users can work the carb with the index finger. That extra size gives the familiar spoon profile a more substantial feel.
Fresh and clean, the Large Purple Ghost Pipe can look surprisingly understated. Give it time. This Purple Ghost version of Purple Nebula becomes much more vivid as the color develops, and the piece can look noticeably different under natural light than it does beneath studio lighting. The slow reveal is the fun of this one: a purple ghost that gets louder the longer it stays in rotation.
Small crushed or granulated pieces of glass fused onto or into hot glass to create color, texture, patterns, or layered effects.
