The Randohm Glass Fade to Black Peak Dry Top brings a beautiful mix of light and dark to Randohm’s signature donut design! Made by Randohm Glass from thick , this compact dry top features Fade to Black glass concentrated around the outer ring of the donut. The color shifts from white through shades of blue into deep black, creating a layered appearance with plenty of contrast.
A heat-resistant glass formulation containing boron oxide, widely used for lampworked art, functional glass, laboratory equipment, and other applications requiring strong thermal resistance.
The donut has an especially interesting arrangement of colors, with dark glass toward the inside of the ring and lighter blue and white tones wrapping around the exterior. Along the edge, you can see the black beneath the layers of blue and white. The surrounding clear glass magnifies the colors, adding depth and drawing your eye through the curved body. It’s a great example of how the heat and flame chemistry used during glassworking can produce dramatic variations in a single glass color.
The airflow travels through the donut-shaped body and out through the rounded mouthpiece, delivering a direct dry draw with some passive cooling from the glass. Its thick borosilicate construction gives the top a substantial feel, while the short profile stays within the footprint of the Puffco Peak base. This compact fit helps keep the setup balanced and reduces the leverage that can contribute to tipping. It’s compatible with the Puffco Peak, Peak Pro, and newer Peak models.

Tako Glass has a 30 day return policy. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
