Tako Glass Fall Shop Update!
Hey everyone! It might have been a while since you’ve heard from us over here at Tako Glass, but that’s just because we’ve been hard at work preparing for the upcoming busy holiday season! Mary Jane’s Glass
We have a massive drop of bongs from Mary Jane’s Glass, with new pieces going live every day this week, and more to follow in the weeks to come! We brought back the popular wrap and rake color bongs, as well as old school styles, like the 15” bent neck models, and a variety of mini bongs too. We’ve got everything from classic solid gold fumed beakers, to intricate squiggle fumed bongs in various shapes and sizes. These bongs create an entire rainbow of colors by layering pure gold and silver fume over clear glass, with trippy squiggles and swirls drawn all over the tube. These are some of the sickest fumed bongs you will find! There is quite a selection of multi-perc glass bongs as well, for super chilled and ultra filtered hits. Grab yourself a double, triple, or even quad-perc Mary Jane’s bong, enjoy a smooth toke, and watch as it colors in with use!
Glass By Nobody
We also snagged some collab pieces as well. Mary Jane teamed up with Glass By Nobody, to create some really sick encalmo beaker bongs. Tony, of Glass By Nobody, prepared the colored tubing, and the artisans at Mary Jane’s Glass worked them into full sized beakers, featuring their signature reinforced flush female joint! Glass by Nobody specializes in dry pipes, so this is a truly unique opportunity to add a rare water pipe to your collection!
Rotational Science
We also had a recent drop from Rotational Science! The last drop sold out pretty quick, so we’re happy to be able to offer more exquisite pieces from Rotational Science. We’ve got a whole selection of the perfectly fumed and colored chillums and spoons, including the premium crushed opal varieties. These feature the same intricate reticello work as the other Rotational Science chillums and spoons, but with a ton of crushed opal over black glass as well! When Tako first saw these, he was blown away, and had to get them for the shop. Well, you bought them all out last time, so he must have been on to something! We also have some amazing Fillacello Twist Glass Bubblers. These chunky elegant pipes are full of twisty reticello spirals, but the real centerpiece is the Fillacello mandala at the base of the stem. Molten Imagination
If you’re a fan of traditional inside out pieces, then you’re going to want to dive right into the Molten Imagination drop! Featuring custom blended colors, exquisitely crafted canes, and delicate fume work, Molten Imagination manages to up the game, bringing even more intense color and contrast to a style that is already known for being vibrant. We’ve got slides in 14mm and 18mm to fit most standard bongs! Check out the Molten Chaos spoons and Sherlocks if you’re looking for something super thick and sturdy that can still turn heads! We dropped these a few weeks ago, and they’re moving fast! We’ve still got a quite a few slides, but half of the spoons and Sherlocks have already sold through. Molten Imagination drops don’t hang around for too long!
Jellyfish Glass
Dichro, dichro, dichro! Jellyfish Glass has all the dichro bling you could ever ask for! We’ve reupped on slides, chillums, spoons and sherlocks, all in a myriad of pastel and neon colors with tons of dichro glitter. We’re doing our best to keep these in stock for you as well, and we even added a few new colorways to our inventory as well. If you’re looking for a small and discreet pocket piece that stills screams ‘SHINY’ then perhaps you should consider gifting yourself something from Jellyfish Glass!
Avant Garde Glass
We got a fresh batch of art in from Avant Garde Glass as well. We have some amazing inside out fumed slides, in two different styles, as well as a variety of fumed and colored chillums. We’ve also got the super hefty inside out Egg Spoons, featuring some colors we didn’t know you could even achieve! Avant Garde is best known for their truly unique Avant-Tech, which allows them to make water pipes with internal passages inside the glass itself. These complex rigs and bongs can fetch 4-digit prices, even for entry level pieces, if you can even find them in stock! We’re happy to bring you some of these more affordable, but still technically detailed pieces from these master glass artists! But we’re also curious if you would be interested in seeing their signature Avant-Tech glassware here at Tako Glass. Let us know!
Wazoo Glass
It’s been a month since they went live, but we listed the last of our glass from Wazoo. As far as we know, this is the last time we’ll have access to a full retail drop from Wazoo. His glassblowing journey has him focusing on different projects for the time being. This might truly be the last time you can add a brand new signature Wazoo woodgrain piece to your collection. We’ve still got most styles in stock too! From small handheld twigs like a Woodgrain Branch Spoon, all the way to the Woody Wood Giant Gandalf pipes, measuring in at 24” long.(That’s two whole feet!) Wazoo’s signature woodgrain technique doesn’t look or feel like any other glass. Check them out, and grab one for yourself!
