If you’re a fan or connoisseur of Tako Glass, you may be interested in owning your very own custom piece. For those who have a specific idea in mind, or if you’ve been eyeing a certain piece but would like some unique alterations, a custom order is, perhaps, in your future.

Working with Tako to create the work of art you’ve been dreaming of may be the best way to make it happen! Over the years, I have developed a signature style and process of creating my bongs and pipes. For those familiar with my work, you know my artistic stamp is loud and proudly placed on every piece that comes out of my kiln.

I get many requests for custom orders. However, it’s important for those who are interested in purchasing one to understand the specific process I require. This ensures my customer gets exactly what they want, while I work to understand what they have in mind and determine if it’s within my scope to make it happen. The aim here is mutual satisfaction, for both the artist and the customer.

About Custom Orders

Custom orders are created on an individual basis, enabling you to get the piece you’ve been after. I offer the option of having a custom piece created to ensure I am satisfying all the needs of my customers.

While I aim to custom-create works that support the intentions and visions of my clients, please note that custom orders must be somewhat similar in design to concepts I have already created. I highly suggest you browse through our website and social media pages to decide on what you want.

Oftentimes, customers who purchase custom pieces want variations on already-created styles. Sometimes, it’s different colors, changes in the size of a piece, a different handle... I don’t veer out of my signature style, so keep that in mind as well. Interested in a purple nebula Sherlock or a Baller pocket pipe with opals, unlike anything in the shop? Let’s talk! Want me to recreate the work of another artist whose work you can’t get? Then I am probably not going to be the right one to work with.

How to Get a Custom Piece

If you’re interested in purchasing a custom piece from Tako Glass, this is the place to do it! It will be an involved process, and it will require some communication to create.

We charge a non-refundable $50 deposit, which covers the cost of the consultation. The final price of the piece created will be determined by specifics involved in its creation, and this will be discussed as well.

Please note, custom pieces do cost slightly more than the items listed in my shop because they take extra time and effort to develop. We aim to make the process as smooth and as free-flowing as possible, while also giving you realistic time-frames, costs, etc.
